Biography

Career Diplomat, Master in Diplomacy and International Relations with mention in Peruvian Migrations and Colectivities Abroad by the Diplomatic Academy of Peru; Bachelor of International Relations; Faculty of Economic Sciences of the San Martin de Porres University of Peru.

On January 02 2019 was assigned as Consul General of Peru in Paterson, with jurisdiction in the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Previously he was Director of Consular Policy at the General Directorate of Peruvian Communities Abroad and Consular Affairs; Deputy Director of International Security, Control and Disarmament of the Directorate of Security and Defense; Deputy Director of Programming, Evaluation and Control of the Directorate of Consular Policy. Abroad, his last position was as Deputy Consul General of Peru in Los Angeles, California (June 2011 – July 2016), Director of National Assistance (April 2008 – May 2011) and previously was assigned as Consul General of Peru in El Alto and in La Paz, Bolivia (February 2006 – March 2008); Political Advisor at the Embassy of Peru in Bolivia (January 2002 – February 2006). Before he served as Head of the Department of Continental Asia; Head of the Department of Foreign Media; Head of the Department of Antarctica; official of the Directorate of Territorial Sovereignty; Official of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs; Official of the Directorate of Maritime Sovereignty.
