Biography

Mr. Ramirez is the Founder and Executive Director of IACO Immigration & American Citizenship Organization, an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the orientation and assistance of immigrants in their process of adaptation and legal documentation in the United States.  IACO currently serves close to 26,000 members from various nationalities.

He has been associated to Non-Profit organizations for more than 27 years. Working with the Hispanic Information Center of Passaic (HIC) as Director of the Immigration Program between 1993 & 1999, he was in charge of coordinating the network of Hispanic Agencies for the Citizenship Campaign of the State of New Jersey that helped over 2,000 immigrants to apply for citizenship.

Mr. Ramirez studied economics at the University of the Andes in Bogotá, Colombia.  He is the president of G&E Victory International.   Throughout his career he has worked with North American and Colombian multinationals, leading various software projects.  He holds intellectual patent rights for the development of different software systems. An expert in the subject of immigration, Mr. Ramirez is regularly requested as speaker in conferences, radio and television programs.  His opinions and points of view in the field are regularly sought after for journalist of major newspapers in the area.
