Biography
Consul General Divia Cepeda Rojas is professional in International Relations of the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. She has studies in international business and diplomatic training courses at the Diplomatic Academy of San Carlos. She was Minister Plenipotentiary of Diplomatic Career, has 24 years of experience in functions related to the foreign service. In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she has worked in thematic and consular areas; desk of the countries of Eastern Europe and Nordic countries. In the foreign service, she has served at the Colombian Embassy in Argentina; Responsible for Consular Functions at the Colombian Embassy to the Netherlands; Consul in Argentina; Consul in Santiago, Chile; Consul of Colombia in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria – Spain. And since August 2016 as Consul in Newark – New Jersey.
