This year the annual Immigrant Integration Conference will be held in person! We will be hosting panels on all aspects of the process of adjustment, integration, and development in this multicultural society. Please save the date on your calendar, October 15th, 2022!

About the Event

THE IMMIGRANT INTEGRATION CONFERENCE will offer a day of dialogue and interaction in which immigrants will have the opportunity to hear from elected officials, public and private sector representatives, including government agencies, consular delegates, non-profit organizations, businesses, professionals, educators, and others, who are actively and collectively addressing the needs of the immigrant community and facilitating the integration and inclusion of  immigrants in the United States.

Understanding Workers’ Rights

New Jersey has many laws that provide greater protections to employees than federal law. Panelists will explain the benefits employees, including immigrants and refugees, are entitled to.

Social and Civic Engagement

Community members’ civic and social engagement promotes community growth and strengthens communities and schools. Panelists will discuss the process of redistricting after each census and the importance of voting and active participation.

Participants will have the opportunity to have a complimentary, individualized, and confidential consultation on different legal issues such as Immigration and Citizenship, Family, Criminal/Municipal, Landlord-Tenant, and Labor Law.

≡ EXPO RESOURCES FOR IMMIGRANTS

10:00 a.m. – 01:00 p.m. 

Booths will be opened throughout the day to inform the participants about specific programs and services provided by the state, local governments, non-profit organizations, and the private sector.

Government Agencies, Consulates Representatives, Healthcare Services, Educational Opportunities, Senior Service Providers, Community Organizations, and businesses and professionals will be present.
