Biography
Rev. Bolivar Flores was born in Dominican Republic He graduated from New York Theological Seminary with a Doctorate in Theology and Clinical Pastoral Education. In 2016, he founded “El Ministerio El Sol Sale Para Todos Internacional”, and created a radio station with daily programming at 9:00 p.m. under the same name. Rev. Flores also wrote a book entitled, “Cadenas Rotas”, which directly translates to “Broken Chains”.
In his ministry work, he has helped more than 4,000 people from the United States, Dominican Republic, and Peru. His hard work led him to become Vice President of the New Jersey Coalition of Pastors and Ministers, Chief of Chaplains in the city of West New York, and, fourth in command for the National Association of Ministers. Additionally, he works with the entirety of the faith-based community as the Pastoral Outreach Director of New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC), a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding individuals returning from incarceration.
In 2018, Rev. Bolivar Flores established an agreement with the Coalition of Latin American Consuls New York (CLACNY) that said CLACNY would assist in identification procurement for immigrants from 17 different countries returning from incarceration. Additionally, he chairs La Magia de Las Bellas Artes, a cultural social welfare organization, and provides spiritual advising for great public servants.
