Mission Statement
The County Clerk is one of three elected constitutional offices established by the New Jersey Constitution along with the County Sheriff and County Surrogate Court Judge. Our office is pleased to provide a variety of important services which you can learn more about by contacting us, visiting one of our offices or outreach events, or navigating through our website. Whether it’s the recording of records relating to all property transactions in Passaic County’s 16 municipalities, processing new passport applications, administering oaths to notaries, issuing veterans’ identification cards, processing vote by mail ballots and overseeing elections, or any of the other services we provide, our office is one that you will likely have contact with at some point in the course of residing or doing business in Passaic County.
