Yolanda V\u00e1squez es reportera general del Noticiero 47 Telemundo (Telemundo 47 News). Como miembro del equipo de noticias, V\u00e1squez reporta las noticias m\u00e1s importantes para los televidentes en el \u00e1rea triestatal de Nueva York. Se uni\u00f3 a Telemundo 47 en el 2006.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
V\u00e1squez tiene m\u00e1s de 25 a\u00f1os de experiencia en el periodismo. Antes de unirse a WNJU, trabaj\u00f3 en Colombia y en varias estaciones de televisi\u00f3n en Nueva York, Chicago y San Antonio.V\u00e1squez ha sido honrada con cuatro premios Emmy\u00ae por el Cap\u00edtulo de Nueva York de la Asociaci\u00f3n Nacional de Artes y Ciencias de la Televisi\u00f3n (NATAS). Adem\u00e1s, varias organizaciones locales han reconocido a V\u00e1squez por su compromiso con la comunidad hispana, incluyendo la Asociaci\u00f3n de Beneficencia de Patrulleros, el Concejo Municipal de Nueva York y la Asociaci\u00f3n de Marines Juveniles de Harlem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
V\u00e1squez se licenci\u00f3 en Periodismo de la Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria INPAHU en Bogot\u00e1, Colombia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
V\u00e1squez es una orgullosa madre de dos hijos y disfruta participar en carreras de 5KM para apoyar a varias organizaciones ben\u00e9ficas y causas comunitarias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
