Lorenzo T. Hern\u00e1ndez, MSW, es el fundador y presidente de la Junta Directiva de IACO desde 1999. El Sr. Hern\u00e1ndez ha dedicado toda su vida al servicio de la comunidad, impactando las vidas de miles de familias, especialmente en la ciudad de Passaic, donde desde 1976 fue el Director Ejecutivo del Centro de Informaci\u00f3n Hispana de Passaic, siendo responsable durante cuatro d\u00e9cadas de la administraci\u00f3n general, gesti\u00f3n y liderazgo en el funcionamiento de la organizaci\u00f3n hasta su jubilaci\u00f3n en 2015.<\/p>\n
Adem\u00e1s, como miembro activo de la sociedad, el Sr. Hern\u00e1ndez sirvi\u00f3 desde 1982 en el Consejo de Servicios Humanos del Condado de Passaic, como Miembro Asesor de Servicios Humanos del Estado, en la Asociaci\u00f3n de Directores Hispanos de NJ; fue Fundador-Presidente de Hispanos Unidos del Condado de Passaic; Presidente del Comit\u00e9 de Salud\/Servicios Sociales de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Drogas de Passaic y cofundador del Comit\u00e9 de Enlace Juvenil de Passaic.<\/p>\n
Lorenzo ha recibido numerosos premios, como el Premio Berlin Wiesler del HSAC del Condado de Passaic; el Premio de Ama de Casa Visitante del Condado de Passaic; una Resoluci\u00f3n de la Asamblea General de NJ por Servicio Meritorio y Liderazgo; el Premio de Ciudadano Sobresaliente \u2013 Premio L\u00edder C\u00edvico de la Ciudad de Passaic \u2013 Asociaci\u00f3n Hispano-Americana de Polic\u00eda y Bomberos de la ciudad de Passaic, entre otros.<\/p>\n
El Sr. Hern\u00e1ndez tiene una Maestr\u00eda de la Universidad Estatal de Rutgers, obtenida en 1986, y un Certificado en Instrucci\u00f3n de Campo.<\/p>\n\n\n
