Mr. Hernandez has dedicated his whole life to the service of the\ncommunity, impacting the lives of thousands of families especially in the city\nof Passaic, where since 1976, He was the Executive Director of the Hispanic\nInformation Center of Passaic, being responsible for four decades of general\nadministration and management and leadership in the operation of the\norganization until his retirement in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition,\nas an active member of the society, Mr. Hern\u00e1ndez served since 1982 on the\nPassaic County Human Services Council, State Human Services Advisory Member, NJ\nHispanic Directors Association; He was Founder-President, United Hispanics of\nPassaic County; President, Health \/ Social Service Committee of the Passaic\nDrug Association and co-founder of the Passaic Youth Liaison Association\nCommittee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorenzo\nhas received numerous awards, the Passaic County HSAC The Berlin Wiesler Award;\nVisiting Housewife of Passaic County; NJ General Assembly Resolution for\nMeritorious Service and Leadership; Outstanding Citizen Award &#8211; Civic Leader\nAward of the City of Passaic &#8211; Hispanic-American Association of Police and\nFirefighters. from the city of Passaic and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr.\nHern\u00e1ndez holds a Master&#8217;s Degree from Rutgers State University, 1986 and a\nCertificate in Field Instruction<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Role Sharing a Community Service Experience Biography Lorenzo T.
